This collection was created from photographs, patents, scrapbooks, articles, company newsletters and brochures documenting the history of the Hotpoint Flat Iron Plant in Ontario, California from its early beginnings to 1975. Bryce A. Denton, GE engineer and historian, coordinated the original donation in 1976 and augmented it with yearly contributions from 1980 to 1989.
